Overview

Grow Reviews is a reputation management platform tailored for service-based businesses aiming to boost their online credibility through automated review requests, streamlined customer feedback, and performance tracking. The product helps businesses convert happy customers into promoters while identifying areas needing improvement.

The Challenge

Reputation platforms are often packed with data but fall short on clarity and ease of use. For Grow Reviews, the challenge was to design a dashboard that felt lightweight and approachable while still offering robust insights into customer feedback, review performance, and engagement metrics. Additionally, the product needed to appeal to small and medium-sized businesses, many of which are not tech-savvy. That meant simplifying flows like review requests, feedback tracking, and onboarding without compromising the core functionality.

Project Timeline

Kick-off & Alignment

Met with stakeholders to understand business goals and platform vision. Defined the primary users (Admins, Technicians, and Super Users) and aligned on must-have features like review requests, company management, and user roles.

Mapped core user journeys across web and mobile: sending review requests, adding project photos, collecting video testimonials, and managing company accounts. Also accounted for platform roles and permission-based access.

We briefly explored layout ideas, but due to clear product direction and short timelines, we decided to skip full wireframing. Instead, I moved directly into high-fidelity mockups to accelerate decisions and visual feedback.

Design System

Created a component-based system in Figma to support rapid iteration and visual consistency across both web and mobile. The system included color tokens, type scales, reusable buttons, form fields, and review states.

Designed clean, role-specific dashboards for mobile and desktop. Focused on task clarity for business users while keeping admin controls accessible but not overwhelming. The landing page was built to convert first-time visitors with clear value props.

Built clickable prototypes for key flows and screens including review capture, company setup, and feedback widgets. Delivered organized, annotated Figma files with all states, flows, and edge case considerations documented for development.

Grow Reviews was a fast-moving, detail-driven project that challenged me to balance clarity, usability, and scalability across multiple user types and devices. Working across the web dashboard, mobile app, and landing page gave me the opportunity to think holistically about the product experience. This project reinforced the value of designing systems that not only look clean but also flex and scale with real-world needs.
